Description: The Foundation of Family Systems 101 – Family Identity – We are what we eat.
Families evolve through time and changing circumstances, but researchers find that families more often carry baggage forward from their families of origin rather than create new patterns of identity. We will discuss an overview of family system theory, relationship dynamics, and adaptive behaviors in response to familial stress. Additionally, we will together explore how family systems interact with other systems such as schools, communities, government, and health care networks.
