Behavioral Issues and Relationships (District 196 Series 1 of 3)
April 25 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
We will be doing a series of three classes through District 196 Community Education. All registration is through their site.
This session will focus on how behavioral issues due to mental health conditions, including substance use disorders, affect the family system. Concepts such as pre-occupation, attempts to control, failure to control and dishonesty will be explored. In addition, we will engage the families in discussions on the dynamics of enabling, denial, and boundaries, offering solutions to help families better relate to the mental health conditions, separate from their relationship with the individual.
