What to Expect When You Reach Out to FRrē
Families are often unsure of their options when they are dealing with issues concerning communication, relationships, mental health, substance use, or other behavioral concerns. The one thing they all have in common is that they are feeling stuck. Whether you are looking for information, are ready to schedule a consultation, or you’re not quite sure yet, we can help.
A different way to intervene
By nature, families are dynamic, so we focus on family systems. Although one individual may initially have a more presented problem, they are not living in a vacuum. Our Dynamic Family Services® are customized for each family depending on their specific circumstances and the data we collect from everyone involved. Getting the entire family/support system involved allows for continued work and healing for the system as a whole.
Dynamic: (adjective) characterized by constant change, activity, or progress;
(noun) a force that stimulates change or progress within a system or process.
As the Dynamic Family Services coordinator, I’m your first point of contact. This isn’t an intake call with an appointment scheduling service. I’m here to help you and your loved ones figure out how to get the help you need, and to ensure that you have a smooth, positive experience with us. One of my main responsibilities is to onboard clients, which primarily involves answering questions and addressing concerns. You can tell me what’s going on, who is involved, and how it is affecting those involved. I am happy to answer any questions you have, and we can take it from there.
We offer a consultation with no financial obligation. This gives you a chance to discuss what’s going on with one of our behavioral health professionals. You are encouraged to invite any interested parties to this consultation, including the individual you made the inquiry for, if the circumstances are appropriate. We work with families all over the country, so if you are unable to meet with us in person at our office near downtown St. Paul, Minn., we can schedule a video or phone call for this consultation. During this conversation, our behavioral health professional(s) will delve into the specific issues with you. With that information, they will suggest some courses of action, and describe how we can help facilitate those processes.
Engaging our services
If after the initial consultation you’re ready to move ahead with us, we can proceed at the pace that you need. You will sign a service agreement that authorizes us to begin services. The agreement outlines what we do, how we protect you and your family, as well as our pricing structure (which is also available online at https://frre.net). Our services are rendered exclusively on a retainer/prepaid basis. This allows us to be available to you in real-time, since as we all know, life doesn’t just happen during normal business hours. You may retain our services for as long as you’d like, and you are only billed for actual time spent, and any materials provided.
Our services are dynamic, so if the circumstances change as we begin working together, we’re prepared to make adjustments to ensure that we’re still focusing on solutions, and helping you and your family navigate the path to an ongoing and effective recovery.
If we make a referral to an outside provider or treatment facility, I help facilitate the admissions process. I can compile several options, streamline the next steps, and get you estimates for those services to help you make an informed decision. Our services are designed to be complementary with other programs. So we can provide continuing care to any and all members of the system and ongoing communication with treatment providers if that’s something you need.
